Drawing Winner & Pride Month Wrap-up

The GLBT Pride Month Celebrations has gone well. We had daily Author Spotlights, some great new works and a free prize drawing. 190 accounts were logged into during the month of June and we've used a random number generator to pick from them for the free ebook and mini-flogger. Congrats to DaniBatth who one the prize.

We like the way the drawing both brought in new members and reminded current members to check in with us. We'd like to see if folks think we should make this a regular event. If so, how regular. Would a monthly drawing be too much?

If you missed it, it's not too late to read the Author Spoltlights with author interviews from June: Thirteen, Annabeth Leong, Lynn Kelling, Elizabeth A. Schechter, R.W. Whitefield, Osiris Brackhaus, Jamie Freeman, Madeleine Swann, Mina Kelly, E.E. Grey, Nobilis Reed, Theda Black, J.A. Jaken, and Kailin Morgan!

#1 monthly drawing

I think a monthly drawing would be fine.

Only I think it could get too boring if it were a drawing out of all logged-in members per month every month, and therefore losing its added benefit for the site.

Maybe we could put some variation in - like, a drawing from all members that are born in the running month, or those who comment on a certain post (like 'what would your chatup line be to lose your virginity?' to celebrate the current double virgin releases) and so on. All our friends on Goodreads, everyone who retweets one of FFP's tweets, the possibilities are endless.
