#1 Different fairy tales

I would love to read erotic versions of some of the lesser-known or at least less retold fairy tales. Some that come to mind: Andersen's "The Red Shoes" (that one's all about transgression and punishment), "The Tinderbox" (would be fabulous to see some agency from the princess in that one), "The Six Swans," or one of the ones where a guy makes a deal with the devil and can't cut his hair or bathe for seven years.

#2 The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

I'd like to read about the erotic version of the Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Imagine Dorthy humping the brains out of the scarecrow, really oiling up the heart of the tin man, and seeing exactly how much courage the lion has.

#3 Little Mermaid

I admit I haven't read the original Little Mermaid, but something about the possibilities of Under The Sea sexiness is intriguing. Uh oh, now I'm going to be thinking about it...

#4 I see what you did there

This is an excellent way to toss ideas the writers' way.

I'd love to see a version of Jack and the Beanstalk. The giant has better ideas what to do with Jack than grind his bones. I'm really fond of totally outrageous micro/macro size difference, and there's comparatively very little of it in written porn.

#5 Oooh... I've never done

Oooh... I've never done macro/micro before - but that would be a very interesting read!

#6 I've done macro/micro a

I've done macro/micro a couple of times now in fanfic, but never with original material -- okay, I guess using a fairy tale is still fanfic in a broad sense. But. It's tempting!

#7 I'd certainly read it!

I'd certainly read it!

#8 the magic words!

I'll have to sit down with the idea as soon as I've cleared one or two more deadlines, then. ^_~

Hee! Eagerly awaited (and brewing up some thoughts of my own for when I get my nerve up to submit to one of the open calls for once...)

#10 Like Elf Esteem...

We have one with a human woman and a tiny femail fairy, Elf Esteem! I'd love to see the Jack and the Beanstalk. It's fun reading all the ideas here.

#11 The Juniper Tree

"Beauty and the Beast" for sure! No! "The Juniper Tree," my god, "The Juniper Tree." I love both these stories because they are so terribly dramatic--full of themes I love to explore, such as rage and possession. I especially like it when there is a twist on the "beauty" part (for example, Amy Lane's Truth In the Dark.) "The Juniper Tree" is one of the very few folk tales that star a young boy as the lead who must undergo the tortuous but ultimately rewarding character growth. Shit, it's dark and heart-breakingly wonderful.

No one has ever written, painted, sculpted, modeled, built, or invented except literally to get out of hell. - Antonin Artaud

#12 Plenty

Oh, there's a fair few folktales staring young boys going through character growth (although you may be right about the scarcity of torturous character growth...), but for some inexplicable reason, they're not the popular ones to re-tell over and over.

The Lucky Younger Son Finds His Way is a repeating theme, and one of my favorites.

I totally agree with you about "The Juniper Tree" being one I want to see twisted. It's already SO twisted, one of the darker tales the Grimms collected, I'd love to see what our writers could do to bring out that twist and make it something... more... :}

#13 Fairy Tale from long ago

The German fairy tale originally published by the Brothers Grimm in 1812, "The Shoes That Were Danced To Pieces", or it is also called "The Twelve Dancing Princesses", would make a great story.  Twelve princesses who sneak out at night, what were they doing besides dancing!

#14 Snow White and the Seven Dwarves

Snow White for me.  It is a classic for porn versions too but that's because it is SO perfect!  Snow White says all pure and innocent doesn't it, while surely those dwarves have to be lusting after her?

Seven men would be a lot, right, but these are dwarves...

Well short legs yes, but cocks??  Who knows?

There are plenty of elements to play with: she could outrun them, or fend them off, possibly.  Or they might swarm her.  Yet she is grateful to them, and there is no-where else she can go.  Dwarves are not George Clooney, for sex appeal, but they are kind - it would be nicely kinky.

So there's a LOT to work with.  As soon as you have the beautiful inncocent princess and a remote cottage in the woods full of little males you have tension; take it from there hehe.  There are many different stories...

#15 Absolutely Beauty and the

Absolutely Beauty and the Beast! It's my all-time favorite fairy tale. Other than that I think I'd enjoy seeing the erotic version of Rapunzel, Cinderella and Momo-Taro, the Peach Boy from Japan. But then pretty much any fairy tales could be fun.

#16 Oooooohhhh

Now I'm wondering how to draw Rapunzel in shibari using her own hair....

#17 Beauty and the Beast for sure

There's so much potential for psychological exploration-- Stockholm Syndrome, for one, or maybe hallucinations about talking kitchenware due to the effects of long-term isolation... And, er, also an animalistic side to things in the sack.

#18 Ooh, yes

I would love to read an erotic Stockholm-syndromed Beauty and the Beast.

#19 Definitely joining the chorus

Definitely joining the chorus for Beauty and the Beast - very interesting material to work with there.

I'd love to see an adult version of The Devil's Breeches - a Don Giovanni-like tale where the hero squanders the money and supports himself by taking jobs as a servant but fails his task because all the Master's women fall in love with him.

And since I've got a little macro/micro in my mind now... perhaps a "little" Tom Thumb?

#20 Oh where to begin?!

I know mine isn't really an entry (I'm a staffer), but I just can't get enough Wicked Fairy Tales, so I'm going to weigh in.

There are several stories where the main female character (princess or otherwise) is under a vow of silence in order to break a spell on her siblings. Three Ravens, Seven Swans, some variations of the Goose Girl. I'd love to see the negotiation of consent with someone who literally can't say "Yes" or "No". For that matter, I'd love to see a mute princess trying to get more than just a kiss out of her prince charming when she can't say anything to forward her cause, and any number of other obstacles may stand between them. And why IS the queen so threatened by her step-son's relationship, anyway?

The Princess of the Glass Mountain has always intrigued me. Not quite sure what you'd do with that one.

Whoever mentioned the Twelve Dancing Princesses above hit on a huge opportunity for outright Baccanalia! Granted, whatever they do has to include wearing out those delicate slippers. It's suddenly much more obvious why the Old Soldier would wait his two extra nights of watching before revealing the princesses antics...

#21 Goldilocks?

I just saw a picture today of a very naughty Goldilocks curled up half-naked on the soft just-right bed with her empty bowl of just-right porrige between her legs, licking the spoon as the shadows of those soon-to-be-shocked neighborly Bears approach.

Iiiiiinteresting...

#22 So many good ideas

I just really want to sit down and write now. I've already written about a third of a Beauty and the Beast story - completely prior to this - so now I kind of want to go back to that.

As to what I would like to read - I'm surprised no-one has mention Sleeping Beauty yet - all kinds of non-con there. There are also quite a few variations on the girl in disguise and known by the prince such as All-kinds-of-fur or even Cinderella to an extent. Or perhaps the Princess and the Pea except the tests for princess-ness are a bit different...
